3 for Christmas

I have decided that the more the merrier, especially when it comes to Christmas. Here is our little addition and all the fun times we had this year.

This is the little sneak trying to peak a few weeks before Christmas- She didn't get too far.

Her "first Christmas"

She can recognize a binky from the wrapped stage. She is amazing!

YUM. Christmas books.

She got to the tree and started pulling these off. This was her second one that morning.

She is doing the only thing she knows to do with clothes (really, anything). Yum!

She did pretty good at openning her gifts on her own. I wish we had pictures of it. But, it was a good Christmas morning. Please no comments on our Charlie Brown Christmas tree. Our house is small, so a big tree does nothing for our space dilemma!!

We're getting new neighbors!!

So, we were watching the news Monday night and all of a sudden we saw our neighbors' house!! Here is the scoop!

The New Toy

I just wanted to show you Breanne's new form of exercise.

Forks, WA

YES, that would be the location where the vampires roam. So, we thought we would go and see what we could see . You never know, maybe one of us would get bit?!

Can't you just picture a vampire jumping out of this fog for their feast?? The scenery was AMAZING!

Me and my totally embarrassed sister. Who's idea was it to bring her, anyway?

The main street in Forks! That is their one light.

I think our trip is summed up in this picture: Jill: "I'm too embarrassed! Laura, YOU go take the picture!" Laura: "Jill, it was your idea to come on this trip and I am enjoying it way more than you!"

Ahh, the Cullen house.

We didn't get the full effect because my sissy sister was too humiliated to stop. These are all drive-by shootings.

Need I say more? Once again, no sightings, it was another drive-by.

The location of Bella's employment. Jill was okay with me taking this one because there were no witnesses as far back as we were- she's such a freak.

Charlie's police car, I'm sure. Yet another shot Jill actually let me get out and take (but not without getting one for her, too).

Now, this is a true treasure. Dr. Cullen's parking spot. Conveniently located next to the hose spout?? (I am sure they have a good reason, but I can't think of one for the LIFE of me).

The rediculously priced store where we made our purchases against our better judgement! While most people mark up products 100%, these ones mark them up 300%!

It would have been better had they not changed the name of their restaurant, but this is supposedly the Italian restaurant where Bella and Edward ate their first meal together. Well, where Bella ate her first meal with Edward watching, anyway.

And this is where Jacob and Bella saw that Zombie movie together. This is where we watched Twilight. Oh, it was such a quaint, cute movie theater!! Port Angeles was almost as scary as the books depicted!

All in all, we had a fun trip. If you're thinking that none of these sights look anything like the movie, it is because they didn't shoot one second in Forks. Who knew?! But, it was a good time, anyway. Of course, it would have been MORE fun if Jill hadn't been such a scaredy cat!! (You WUSS!)

Crafty Woman

I just wanted you all to know that I am officially a CrAfTy woman! I am sooo proud of myself. Those of you who are pros at this kind of stuff will probably see all the flaws, but I actually made this table runner!! YEAY!!

I bought the material Saturday morning and this project was supposed to last me through December, but I was sooo excited about it that I couldn't wait!! I think I will do one for each holiday next :) I am soo excited! (Thanks, Tabi, for lending me the book. I promise you will get it back soon!)

Giving Thanks

I love Thanksgiving, and I think it was strategically placed before Christmas!! So here are some of the things I am thankful for this holiday season.

1- Two WONDERFUL sisters (and their kids, and an upcoming trip to Forks, etc.) I love you guys!

2- My family!



3- My great in-laws!! (and I am grateful that I can even say that!)

4- Fun friends!

6- Naptime

7- A good job.

8- A new high chair! YEAH!

9- A daughter that keeps me laughing!

Gettin' Around

I realize that this title is questionable, BUT, I had to tell you how Breanne is gettin' around these days!!

While most babies prefer the more conventional methods of rolling or crawling, Breanne has decided to invent her own way to move.

She begins by extending her arms out all the way, kinda in a bowing position.

Then she sits up. That's it!

Although you can barely tell, she is actually moving towards a very strategic goal. It was me the other night. We have yet to learn the rest of the destinations her interest will take her, sitting and bowing all the way!!

In the beginning

In the beginning, there was me. . .

And then someone came along and there were two . . .

And then someone came to hang out with us for the rest of eternity, making three . . .

And the beginning of friends is the scariest time for us, but, yes, friends have been made. The first playdates of her life . . .
