Stinkers

I have two cuties. Cutie stinkers, that is. But even their stinker-ness is cute.

(Heidi sneaking some of big sister's pudding!)

Today while sitting on a chair for not sharing the toy eggs:

Tots: "No! MY eggs!" (in her stinkerish voice)
"No. Everybody's eggs. Share with everybody." (In a gentle and kind voice that is supposed to sound like mine).
"Yes. Share eggs." (in her own regular voice)
"WAAAHHHHHHH!" (Stinker voice again)

- Silence -

"Okay, Mom. I'm ready to say sorry. I want to get off!" (regular voice again)

It took me a few seconds to realize that I just heard my toddler correcting herself - outloud. It was really funny.

Update: Shelf dilemma

So, we had that shelf, remember??

I have (almost) finished what I think is a good way to use it. Here is what is there now.

I got these from Bed Bath & Beyond. I filled them with pasta, granola, dried apples and pinapple, and dried bananas and strawberries (the useful part of the shelf!)

My mother-in-law brought this back from a trip back east- I love it for above our dining table.

This is the unfinished part. There will eventually be colorful pictures of the family :)

WHEW! That felt like a lot of work!

Taste of Spring

Nothing chases away linguering winter clouds like a good spring craft :)

This was my first attempt (EVER) at clothing. And I think overall the . . .

. . . FLOWER turned out okay :)
