First Feedings

Well, Miss BB is sitting up on her own now, she is still hungry after a day's feeding, and showing a LOT of interest in FOOD (she get's it from her dad). So, tonight I decided it was time for her first feeding.

All in all it went real well. She showed a real interest in the thought of eating.

She didn't like the food so much.

But she really seemed to enjoy the mess.

Good thing I put a bib on her. But next time I will remeber to put a bib on me!! Here are some post-eating bath pictures. Isn't she a cutie?!

Nope, it was boring. But, for what it's worth, Shannon, this was our most recent encounter with the great outdoors: Cascade Falls (It still has a special ring in my head). This was taken of the various bushes to illustrate the changing of colors and season . . . it is pretty (though uninteresting).

The Things Mommy Loves . . .

So, here are the top 5 inventions this mommy is grateful for!

5) While this one isn't my number one yet, I hear it will be instrumental in getting the child to sleep in a few months.

4) The ceiling fan can keep her buisy for a good half hour if I am lucky!!

3) Yes, that is a mirror. She has actually fallen asleep on it before- she is either cuddling it or trying to gum it!!

2) The blanky and binky form a combined tool to (successfully) get Ms. BBs to sleep! She loves to cuddle the blanket (and sometimes eat it), and the binky is very soothing for her.

1) AND the number one thing I love is our baby bjorn (because SHE loves it). Can you say FREEDOM?! Love it!

Sinners

I loved those pictures of Cascade Falls so much that I didn't want to post again. But ALAS, here is the news. APPARENTLY we are sinners. My evidence for this is three fold:

Our unmistakeable love for sleep, which we are unmistakably passing onto our little girl-

OH the IDLENESS!!

Wasn't it Elder Maxwell's favorite scripture about the sin of vanity?? Ecclesiastes 1:2 "Vanity of vanities..." And, YES, that is a mirror glued to Breanne's face!

This Prayer brigade stayed all day long on our front door, apparently thinking it could, with it's much speaking, pray away our sins. It has given up, however. I guess we are just a lost cause! (Yup, that's a praying mantis!)
