She is now 8 months and we have had some AMAZING breakthroughs (some of them just this morning!). I didn't get pictures of all of them so I posted some other funny pictures, instead!!
1- She is now holding her bottle on her own! I had suspicions that she could, but was just too lazy to do so. This morning I found out that I was right! I didn't get any pictures of this, but here is another one taken Monday night as I went in to check on her, I found this:

2- She has recently mastered the art of the sippie cup. This is a big deal for me as I give her one at every meal thinking 'If she doesn't figure it out, at least it will keep her entertained!'
3- And this is the biggie- her new position. I will put her on the ground to play with her toys, and she pushes the toys away JUST SO that she can practice this little move. Despite Chad's best efforts to talk her out of it, I think she will be crawling VERY soon. (Sorry, hun!)

While I am in this chatty mood, I might as well ask this question that is pretty much always on my mind, what is it with babies and electronic devices that they aren't supposed to play with? It's like the first thing Breanne does (I almost think this is her motivation for crawling) is to get to our entertainment center and start trying to push the buttons on everything she finds! AND THEN she starts pulling the cords and trying to chew on them. So, what is it about these things she finds so fascinating? I will probably never know, but that is my question nonetheless.

A kid learning to hold its bottle is easily one of the top three gifts given to new parents in the first year. And yes, they fake that they are unable to hold their bottle or simply refuse out of laziness because their recourse is to scream if you do not hold their bottle.
As for eating and playing with all things electronic... yep! Parker will crawl over to the stereo, turn it up and then rock out to it.
