One of Tot's favorite toys (we define "toy" loosley at our house) is an old ice cream bucket. Since we eat ice cream by the bucket at our house, and a lot of it, we have many of just such buckets.
And then, she gets possessive about them. It is really funny. Anyway, things like this really put me in a stupor when it comes to thinking about Christmas gifts . . . what would she enjoy??
Kaitlin plays with an ice cream bucket too! ... and a big yogurt container... and a cleaned out formula canister (it's a drum) ... and a wooden spoon. haha those are the best toys! You shouldn't feel bad about not having the "toys" that are sold at the stores. If you want to buy a toy you should look on ksl or craigslist - there are some great deals out there. Kaitlin doesn't have many toys, but we found a great deal at a yard sale so we finally broke down and bought it for her birthday. I think kids don't mind the buckets and such.
